Level IIIA (3A) is typically the highest level of protection you will find in soft armor. This vest complies with NIJ 0101.06 standard to protect against .44 Magnum semi-jacketed hollow point bullet 240gr, impacting at the velocity of 436m/s and 9mm FMJ bullet 124gr, impacting at the velocity of 367m/,covering both front and rear protection.  The mesh design also maximizes ventilation and minimizes heat build-up, making it perfect for hot, humid, or tropical environments.
