Trigger Pull: The trigger force required on the Sig Sauer GSR Sigarms falls into the medium to hard range, though certainly, I've encountered tougher triggers on other firearms. Its 1911-style trigger, distinct from the more common lever type, likely contributes to its somewhat stiffer pull.

Accuracy: The accuracy was fair but not exceptional, with groupings approximately 2.5 inches from 20 feet away in a standing position, slightly left and high of the target center. However, as I adapted to the trigger's feel, my precision with the Cybergun GSR improved. Chronograph testing of the Cybergun Sig Sauer GSR showed speeds very close to, and initially surpassing, the advertised 397 fps, eventually averaging around 370 fps, with an 8-shot average at 422 fps on a fresh CO2 cartridge.

Build Quality: The build quality is impressive, featuring predominantly metal components except for a few parts such as the hammer, trigger, magazine release, slide catch, and the outer barrel. The metal construction includes the slide, frame, magazine, and grips, all finished excellently. My experience with the Cybergun GSR was flawlessly operational.

Realism: The Cybergun Sig Sauer GSR closely mimics the real GSR Sigarms in appearance, weight, and feel, complete with the 1911-style trigger and authentic slide trademarks. While a single-action trigger and operational slide would enhance its realism further, the GSR remains an accurate representation of the genuine Sig Sauer GSR Sigarms.

Pros:

  • Robust weight and solid build.
  • Predominantly metal construction.
  • Accurately licensed Sig Sauer GSR Sigarms replica.
  • High fps near the manufacturer's claim.
  • Excellent value for the price.
  • Efficient CO2 usage.
  • Clear sighting with white dots on both front and rear sights.
  • The integrated magazine for CO2 and BBs adds convenience.
  • The recessed barrel enhances realism.
  • Authentic 1911 style trigger, though double action only.

Cons:

  • Lack of blowback and stationary slide.
  • The hammer is non-functional, only for aesthetics.
  • The rear sights are fixed and cannot be adjusted.
  • The trigger is on the heavier side.

Comments:

Among the three Cybergun pistols I acquired (including the Jericho 941 and Sig Sauer SP2022), all priced affordably, the GSR stands out for its heft, attributed to its metal framework. Despite being a budget-friendly BB gun, it offers substantial value, most notably a faithful reproduction of the original GSR Sigarms firearm. For enthusiasts of the 1911 model seeking an airgun without a hefty price tag, the Cybergun GSR is an excellent pick, boasting significant heft, a full-size metal magazine, and an authentic 1911 trigger design.

Great bang for your buck

For $60 bucks you can't go wrong. Plastic frame but metal slide so feels solid and not cheap at all. Nice full size mag. Hits hard and is crazy accurate. I took my ASG STI One plinking and this gun afterwards. I gotta say this gun was noticeably more accurate. All in all like an awesome no frills version of the more expensive guns. I recommend it bigtime.
