Trigger Pull: Both pistols feature single and double action triggers typical of true revolvers. The double action trigger experiences some resistance due to the cylinder rotation, compounded by a spring-fed metal gasket between the barrel and cylinder that creates a seal, adding friction and a heavier pull. Conversely, the single action trigger is significantly lighter on both models.
Accuracy: Testing for accuracy is pending, and results will be linked once the shooting field test reviews for the ASG Dan Wesson 2.5 inch Gold and G&G G731 2.5 inch Airsoft pistols are complete. Although both guns claim an FPS around 400, I anticipate a range closer to 350-375 FPS. Accuracy is expected to be reasonable at shorter distances, but without a hop-up, performance at longer ranges may be limited.
Build Quality: Both revolvers are excellently constructed, predominantly metal with only a few plastic components like the handles and the CO2 screw tab on the Dan Wesson. Care is required when attaching the grips, particularly on the G&G G731, and the grips on the Dan Wesson may show wear with extensive use. Both guns boast impressive finishes—the G&G's silver mimics polished stainless steel, while the Dan Wesson's unique gold finish provides a distinctive look. For those preferring a classic aesthetic, the G&G G731 is also available in standard black.
Realism: The ASG Dan Wesson and G&G G731 revolvers closely emulate real six-shooters, with all mechanical parts functioning similarly to actual revolvers. The realistic loading of metal shells enhances the authentic feel, making it difficult to distinguish these as Airsoft models.

Comments:
The shell-loading mechanism of these revolvers adds to their realism and enjoyment, providing a moment to appreciate the loading process between shots, unlike rapid-fire, high-capacity magazine guns. Both pistols are compact, with the G&G G731 slightly preferred for its cleaner lines and smaller profile. Conversely, the ASG Dan Wesson 2.5 inch offers a more rugged, combat-ready appearance. Both are excellent choices for a discrete, revolver-style sidearm when additional firepower is needed.
