Trigger Pull: Great in both single and double action. For a shell-loading revolver, the double action is the best I have come across with next to no friction like I would usually find with these revolvers when shot in double action mode.

Build Quality: The Webley & Scott Mark VI Service Revolver has an all metal construction other than the plastic grips and internal seals. The fit and finish is excellent with a great overall weight held in hand. The only complaint I have is that the grips being a thin plastic seem low quality compared to the rest of this otherwise high quality revolver.

Realism: In terms of replicating a real steel Webley Mk VI .455, Webley & Scott did a really great job with their CO2 airsoft version. They even included a Small Arms Training Manual based off of the real steel variant. Webley based the Mark VI Service Revolver Pistol from the original blueprints with authentic licensing from the 1915 version. The only real tell that this is an airsoft revolver would be the small safety switch on the lower right side frame and the CO2 valve located right behind the hammer.

Pros:

  • Accurate replica of the real steel Webley Mk VI
  • Great weight and feel in the hand at 1.1 kg (2.4 lbs)
  • Deep recessed barrel has a true .455 caliber opening
  • Break barrel design allows for quick shell-loading
  • Hammer and trigger action shoots great in both single and double action mode
  • Safety switch is in a fairly discreet location on the lower right side frame
  • Lanyard loop doubles as a tightening screw for piercing CO2 cartridge

Cons:

  • Does not work with speed loaders or cartridge shells from other brands
  • Dummy shells are around .357 caliber, rather than the original .455 caliber shells
  • Plastic grips seem a bit cheap compared to the rest of this high quality gun

Comments: Another classic shell loading CO2 airsoft revolver—nothing wrong with that. I remember a time when finding a realistic revolver, even a modern version, was hard to do. Now we have a growing selection of realistic revolvers that replicate their original real steel variation with ultra realism. The Webley & Scott Mark VI Service Revolver Airsoft Pistol is no exception and makes for yet another option if you want a well-designed, functional, and ultra-realistic classic airsoft revolver.
